Iga Swiatek and Ons Jabeur will lock horns at the 2022 Italian Open Final on Sunday, May 15th.
Iga Swiatek will be hoping to continue her ruthless run in Rome when she faces Ons Jabeur in the final of the 2022 Italian Open. The Pole looks to be in the form of her life and commenced her Italian Open campaign with a comfortable win over Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the first round before thrashing past Victoria Azarenka in the second round. On Friday, she thwarted Bianca Andreescu in straight sets and did the same against Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinal to enter yet another final this year.
On the other hand, Ons Jabeur began her Italian Open with a win over Sorana Cirstea in the first round. She followed that up with another impressive 7-5, 6-2 win over Ajla Tomljanovic before another straight-sets win over Yulia Putintseva saw her reach the quarterfinals of the competition. She then had to battle her way past Maria Sakkari and Daria Kasatkina in the semifinals to reach the final of the Italian Open. The 27-year-old Tunisian will now face the most formidable challenge yet as she looks to win back to back titles.

Swiatek and Jabeur have faced each other three times in the past. And it is the Tunisian who holds the 2-1 advantage in the H2H record.
Despite Swiatek steamrolling all of her opponents in Rome this year, Jabeur seems to have the edge over the Pole. Our prediction is a win in three sets for Jabeur.
