Ivan Dodig: Personal Life
Born to father Tomislav Dodig and mother Davorka Dodig, Ivan started playing the game from a young age. He was born in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Dodig currently resides in Freeport, Bahamas. He has two brothers, Zeljko Dodig and Mladen Dodig.
On 16 November 2013, Ivan got married to Maja Dodig and they were blessed with a son, Petar on 16 June 2014.

Ivan Dodig qualified for the 2010 Australian Open main draw and defeated former world No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero in the first round before losing to Stefan Koubek in the second round. He won his first tournament in front of his home crowd at the 2011 PBZ Zagreb Indoors. This continues to be his only singles title win.
Dodig reached the doubles finals of the 2013 Wimbledon Championships for the first time in his career. He teamed with Marcelo Melo and lost to Bob and Mike Bryan in the final.
Dodig managed a huge result in 2015 when he won the French Open title alongside Melo by defeating Bob and Mike Bryan in the final. This was his first Grand Slam title triumph.
The Croatian won the silver medal at the 2020 Olympics in the doubles event, partnering 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic. They lost to fellow Croats Nikola Maektic and Mate Pavic and it was just the third time in the Olympics that the same country won both gold and silver in the men’s doubles event.
In the 2021 Australian Open, Dodig won his second men’s doubles Grand Slam title. One year later at the same tournament, Dodig secured the mixed doubles title alongside Kristina Mladenovic. He is currently ranked world No. 8 in doubles.
