Predicted Derby County XI to face Nottingham Forest in the Championship
Jack Marriott’s first-half goal proved to be the winner as Derby County overcame a 10-man Wigan Athletic 1-0 at the DW Stadium last week in the Championship.
The Rams climbed to 4th in the standings as a result of that win and Frank Lampard’s men will have a good chance of making it three in a row when they play host to Nottingham Forest at Pride Park next week on Monday.
Nottingham currently sit 7th in the standings and Aitor Karanka’s men will be looking to get their campaign back on track after losing 1-0 to Preston last week.
Team News
Frank Lampard has plenty of injuries to contend with for next week’s game. Craig Forsyth (cruciate ligament), Curtis Davies (Achilles tendon), Mason Bennett (hamstring) and Marcus Olsson (cruciate ligament) are all ruled out while Joseph Ledley is back in training from his hip injury and will be pushing for a return next week.
Formation: 4-3-3
Manager: Frank Lampard

The Irishman was one of the standout figures at the back last week as Derby registered their first clean sheet in 15 games.

The Chelsea loanee put in a solid shift at the back against Wigan and should be one of the first names on the teamsheet for the next game.

He looked good in the last game and should be amongst the starters for this one as well.
6. Tom Huddlestone (CDM)
The former England international kept the ball moving in the midfield against Wigan and should start against Nottingham Forest.
7. Craig Bryson (RAM)
He showed plenty of resilience in the midfield in the previous outing and Lampard should continue to rely on him.
8. Mason Mount (LAM)
The Chelsea loanee has been one of the key figures for the Rams this season and he will need to rise to the occasion once again.
9. Harry Wilson (RW)
The Liverpool loanee played has by far been the most creative player for the Rams in the final third and he needs to spark that creativity once again in the next game.
9. Tom Lawrence (LW)
He was quite frustrating in the last game and will be expected to put in a better shift this time around.
