Prime Video announced on March 8, 2023, that filming for Season Two of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels had wrapped, with Alan Ritchson reprising the role of Reacher while Maria Sten will reprise Frances Neagley; Luke Bilyk, Dean McKenzie and Edsson Morales along with newcomers Domenick Lombardozzi and Serinda Swan will also return in December. Alan Ritchson returns as Reacher alongside Maria Sten who plays Frances Neagley.

Amazon Prime Video released an Amazon Prime Video sizzle reel to announce that season two of Reacher would premiere in December, yet the trailer reveals little information regarding its plot or Alan Ritchson as Reacher – confirmed.
In its second season, Reacher will jump ahead ten books in his book series. Whereas Season One focused on Killing Floor novel by Craig Johnson, Season Two will adapt Bad Luck and Trouble. Reacher’s old unit may reunite while showrunners may not revisit any previous novels in this series.
This season will follow Jack Reacher as he investigates an unsolved series of deaths within his former military unit, using his investigative skills to untangle a web of corrupt police officers and politicians. Robert Patrick and Domenick Lombardozzi reprise their roles as Reacher’s friends Frances Neagley and Oscar Finlay while Serinda Swan, Shaun Sipos, Karla Dixon, Andres Collantes Edsson Morales as well as Shannon Kook-Chun all return in this season 2.
Fans of Jack Reacher will have access to new episodes via Amazon Prime; however, Freevee (an ad-supported streaming service that hosts popular series like Bosch and Jury Duty) may eventually offer them as well.

Amazon announced earlier this year that a second season was under development, and it appears it may premiere sometime between December 2017 to February 2018 on Prime Video.

Reacher was an instantaneous success and looks to only grow stronger over its second season. Based on Lee Child’s popular Jack Reacher books, Alan Ritchson stars as Alan Reacher; an ex-military police officer known for being direct. It became a hit with both audiences and critics from its debut, so its renewal was undoubtedly inevitable.
Reacher Season Two will likely follow the plotline from Book 11, “Bad Luck and Trouble”, where Reacher must work with former Army unit member Frances Neagley to discover who is targeting their deaths.

Fans will be relieved to know that Ritchson and Neagley will return for season 2, while the rest of the cast is fresh with faces like Shaun Sipos (Outer Range). He has been cast as David O’Donnell from Reacher’s 110th MP Special Investigation Unit who serves as his “like a brother”. Also joining this cast are Luke Bilyk (Good Witch), Dean McKenzie (Arrow), Serinda Swan (Kingdom), Shannon Kook-Chun (The 100). Filming has wrapped for this show so it should debut around December.
