Jake Atlas opened up on how WWE helped him with therapy
WWE NXT superstar Jake Atlas who WWE recently released, thanked the company for paying for his mental health therapy. WWE recently sent out a mass text message to offer mental health assistance to all of its members.
In contrast, some WWE stars have termed allegations of this assistance as fake. However, it seems like some stars have got benefits from WWE regarding mental health issues, like former NXT Superstar Atlas, who recently revealed that WWE paid for his therapy. He even claimed that WWE “saved his life” in the process.
Atlas tweeted about this in his Twitter account, saying:
“I certainly don’t want to make this about me, but this is important to speak up about. WWE paid for 6 months of my therapy & quite literally saved my life. Not everything is what it seems. People who are truly suffering from mental illness learn how to hide it well. Reach out.”
WWE gets blamed most of the time because of their corporate trends. However, they still help out sometimes when it matters. Jake was released by WWE recently, but he certainly didn’t forget about WWE’s good deeds.
Former TXT Star Shannon Spruill, aka Daffney recently passed away due to apparent suicide after suffering from mental health issues for a long time.
SHIMMER Wrestling confirmed this news with a tweet. She was 46 years old and gave an Instagram video a few days back where she appeared suicidal. Her last match was against Sammi Lane at a PWF Event.
