Like the last time, Jake Paul will most probably heading into the rematch against Tyron Woodley as the favourite
Jake Paul will face Tyron Woodley in a rematch on the 18th of December. The fight billed – ‘Leave No Doubt’ will be for 8 rounds and Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida will play host.
Paul was originally scheduled to face Tyson Fury’s half-brother Tommy Fury on the same date. However, Fury pulled out stating that he had a chest infection due to a rib injury.
Woodley who is always in shape, decided to step in on short notice.
The former welterweight champion faced Paul on the 29th of August, 2021. Making his pro-boxing debut Woodley lost to ‘The Problem Child’ via. a narrow split decision. In fact, it was Woodley who had the better moments in the fight. At one point in the fight, he almost knocked out Paul who was saved by the ropes.
Jake Paul is the clear favourite across a number of betting sites. On FanDuel, Paul is -310, whereas Woodley is +225. DraftKings has Paul at -265 and Woodley at +210.
It is worth noting that Paul was the favourite in his first fight against Woodley as well.
The YouTube star will be looking forward to keeping his unbeaten run intact come the 18th of December.
