Predicted Bournemouth line-up to face Huddersfield in the Premier League

Bournemouth will travel to West Yorkshire to face Huddersfield Town on Saturday as they look to end their poor run of form.

The Cherries are now 12th in the Premier League and without a win in their last five outings, losing four and drawing one. Eddie Howe’s men have no better chance of getting back to winning ways at the weekend against the rock bottom Huddersfield.

Jan Siewert’s Terriers sit dead bottom of the table and are certainly going to be relegated come the end of the campaign.

Team News

Callum Wilson is a touch and go for Saturday’s game. Steve Cook is set to be out for five to six weeks with a groin problem.

Probable Bournemouth XI

Formation: 4-4-1-1

Manager: Eddie Howe

Artur Boruc (GK)

Boruc has usurped Begovic to the no.1 spot and will start against Huddersfield Town.

Nathaniel Clyne (RB)

Clyne has made the right-back position his own since joining from Liverpool on loan in January. He is set to retain his place in the team.

Chris Mepham (CB)

Mepham has big shoes to fill in following Cook’s injury. He will partner Ake in central defence.

Nathan Ake (CB)

Ake has been excellent this term for the Cherries, impressing with his tackling, interception skills and ball-playing abilities.

Adam Smith (LB)

As Clyne has become a regular fixture at right-back of late, Smith will start on either side of the defence on Saturday.

Jordon Ibe (RM)

With his blistering pace and dribbling skills, Ibe could be a handful for the Huddersfield defenders.

Jefferson Lerma (CM)

Lerma is available after serving a two-game suspension and he’ll walk straight back into the starting XI.

Andrew Surman (CM)

Surman is a highly energetic player who’ll partner Lerma at the heart of the Bournemouth midfield.

Ryan Fraser (LM)

Fraser has been one of the best players for the Cherries this season. The diminutive Scotsman will start on the left flank.

David Brooks (SS)

Brooks has made a stellar impact in his debut season at Bournemouth. The creative Welshman will start just behind the striker in West Yorkshire.

Josh King (ST)

With Wilson doubtful, King will lead the Cherries attack and try helping the visitors get a much-needed win at the weekend.
