Professional Career
Dowtin agreed to terms with the Orlando Magic on an Exhibit 10 contract on December 19, 2020, after going undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft. He was released the next day. On January 24, 2021, he signed as an affiliate player with the Lakeland Magic of the NBA G League.
On September 8, 2021, Dowtin signed with the Orlando Magic. However, after training camp, he was released. The Golden State Warriors took him off waivers on October 18, and they later changed his contract to a two-way agreement with the Santa Cruz Warriors. The Warriors released him on January 2, 2022.
Dowtin agreed to a 10-day contract with the Milwaukee Bucks on January 7, 2022. After appearing one for the Bucks, he was assigned to the Wisconsin Herd of the G League on January 12.
On January 19, 2022, the Lakeland Magic gained Dowtin once more. On January 28, he was let go by the group, but on February 1, he was re-acquired.
On March 22, 2022, Dowtin agreed to a 10-day deal with the Orlando Magic; on April 1, 2022, Lakeland acquired him again.
