Ciampa teamed up with Johnny Gargano and they won the NXT Tag Team Championship from The Revival. Gargano and Ciampa were known as #DIY. Their reign was stopped by the Authors of Pain (AOP).
During his time in NXT, Ciampa won the NXT Championship on a couple of occasions. His first reign lasted 237 days while the second one lasted 112 days.
Tommaso Ciampa appeared on the April 11 episode of Raw and was introduced as the newest member of the RAW roster. He attacked Mustafa Ali after his match against The Miz turning heel for the first time since 2019.
