Wolverhampton Wanderers Prediction: Probable XI to face Leicester City
Wolves welcome Leicester City at the Molineux on Friday hoping to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are going through a bit of a rocky patch having won only once in their last six league games. They drew with Manchester United last time out, however, are only six points out of the top four.
Leicester City, meanwhile, have managed only two league wins in their last five and come into this contest off the back of a 2-2 draw with Chelsea.
Team News
Adama Traore is doubtful for the game with a shoulder injury. Ruben Vinagre is ruled out and will spend some time on the sidelines following a suspected tear in his hamstring.
Wolves Prediction: Probable XI
Formation: 3-4-3
Rui Patricio (GK)
Patricio kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford last time out and will be aiming to shut the shop as soon as possible against Leicester.
Matt Doherty (RWB)
An attacking full-back, Doherty is excellent going forward and contributes to his team’s attacks.
Willy Boly (RCB)
Boly is back fit and helped Wolves to a clean sheet against Manchester United. He’s a certainty to start against the Foxes.
Conor Coady (CB)
One of the first names on the team sheet, Coady is a real leader at the back and should lead his Wolves side once again on Friday.
Romain Saiss (LCB)
Saiss is a defensive midfielder but he has done well in defence this season. He’ll complete the Wanderers’ back three.
Jonny Castro (LWB)
Jonny is an energetic full-back who continues to thrive at left wing-back for the Wanderers.
Ruben Neves (CM)
A crucial player for Wolves in the midfield, Neves keeps things ticking over with his distributing and tackling skills.
Joao Moutinho (CM)
Moutinho is an experienced operator who has formed a strong partnership with Neves in the middle of the park. They will look to neutralize Leicester’s attackers at the Molineux.
Pedro Neto (RW)
Nuno is likely not to risk Traore from the start, so Neto could get the nod on the right flank. The Portuguese will be keen to repay the manager’s faith in him.
Diogo Jota (LW)
Quick and tricky, Jota could cause problems for the Leicester defenders. The Portuguese will retain his place on the left flank.
