Jiri Vanek had a very impressive career in the junior circuit and reached as high as World No. 14 in the junior singles world rankings and World No. 21 in doubles. He reached the semifinals of the French Open in 1995 and the quarterfinals of the Australian Open boys’ singles in 1996.
