Jody Scheckter is an icon in the Formula One Community. In 1970, he shifted to Great Britain and this helped him to enter Formula One at the US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in 1972. He was a part of the team Ferrari. Jody Scheckter won the 1973 SCCA L&M Championship. He was close to winning the F1 Championship many times and finally won the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship in1979. In 1974 and 1976, he was the second runner-up.
