Jordan Wright MMA career and UFC record

Jordan Wright made his MMA debut at XFS: Wasteland on the 8th of November, 2014. He faced John Lee and earned an easy submission victory by means of a rear-naked choke.

Within 10 months he was 5-0 up in his MMA career. He then moved to Gladiator Challenge and beat Julian Hernandez.

Wright then fought twice at Alaska FC – at AFC 128 and AFC 131, both against John Stern – both submission wins.

Following a win over Craig Wilkerson at Legacy Fighting Alliance 30, Wright took on Anthony Hernandez at Dana White’s Contender Series 10. He was knocked out by Hernandez. However, it was later deemed a no-contest since he tested positive for marijuana.

Wright, once again returned to LFA. After one win at LFA 80, he joined the UFC. On debut, he took on Ike Villanueva at UFC on ESPN: Munhoz vs Edgar.

At UFC 255, Wright suffered his first defeat after being knocked out by KO artist Joaquin Buckley.

He then bounced back with a TKO win over Jamie Pickett at UFC 262.
