Joshua Tyler Kelley was born on November 20, 1997, in California. His mother was a speech pathologist and raised him and his brother as single parents. Kelly completed his early education at Eastside High School and it is the place where he was first introduced to football. He got the chance to represent his high school team and completed his career with 1903 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns. His impressive performance earned him a place in the first-team-all conference and the conference’s running back of the year award.
After completing his schooling, he joined the University of UC Davis in 2017 and wore the UC’s outfit. But he ended his career at UC Davis with 1,139 yards and seven touchdowns in two seasons and moved on to UCLA. During his initial days with the Bruins, he spends most in the training field and became the team’s best player in training sessions.
