Kamaru Usman is a Nigerian-American UFC star who competes in the Welterweight division. He previously held the divisional title.
The 36-year-old carries the nickname of The Nigerian Nightmare and has a great history of wrestling during his college days.

Kamaru Usman Family, wife and relationships
Kamaru Usman was born in Nigeria while his father was in the Nigerian Army and his mother was a teacher.
He has two brothers, Kashetu and Mohammed, the latter is also an MMA star. Usman’s father was the first to come to the United States and slowly and steadily he brought the rest of the family across to the States.
Muhammed Usman, Kamaru’s father, spent 10 years at the Seagoville Federal Correctional Institution on multiple counts of healthcare fraud.
His mother, Afishetu P. Usman, had to take care of the children during this time while Muhammed was expected to accompany his son for UFC 251 but the coronavirus pandemic cut short such plans.
Kamaru also is married and they have a daughter called Samirah, who was born in 2014. However, there isn’t much known about the wife of Kamaru Usman or his daughter.
