Karrion Kross Career
Kross started his wrestling journey by making his debut in the Global Force Wrestling against Bobby Roode. After that, he performed for Lucha Underground for around 2 years and made his debut by defeating Vinny Massaro in a dark match.
Kross has also represented Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide from 2017-2020, where he made his debut helping Jonny Mundo win the AAA Mega Championship. Kross has also performed in MLW and Impact wrestling.
Not many people know this, but Kross made a one-off appearance on February 16, 2015, teamed with Darren Young. Kross finally signed with WWE on February 4, 2020.
Karrion debuted by attacking Ciampa in WWE NXT and made his in-ring debut by defeating Leon Ruff in a squash match at NXT under his ring name Karrion Kross.
At NXT, TakeOver Kross won his first NXT Championship by defeating Keith Lee. Still, it didn’t last long as the next day he suffered a separated shoulder during the match and had to vacate the title ending the reign in just 4 days which is the shortest title reign in WWE history.
Kross returned after his injury and made a remarkable comeback by winning the NXT Champion for the second time at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver against Finn Balor.
Kross lost the title to Samoa Joe after a long rivalry which was also his first loss ever in NXT. He was later drafted to RAW.
Karrion made his main roster debut on Raw against Jeff Hardy, his first pinfall loss in WWE. Kross’s new attire had quite a negative impact on fans wearing a Gladiator helmet and suspenders in the entrance.
