Kelvin Gastelum is a tried and tested fighter in the UFC middleweight division where he now looks to reclaim lost glory, and here is his net worth, payouts, and a lot more
Kelvin Gastelum is just getting into his stride despite being in the UFC for around 8 years now. Born in San Jose, California, Gastelum fought in various independent promotions in Mexico as well as the United States of America before his big break.
The Jiu-Jitsu black belt-holder won The Ultimate Fighter middleweight tournament at TUF 17. And since then, he has never looked back. Gastelum is still dividing opinions among fans as to what to make of him. He dabbled in the welterweight division before taking the step up to 185 a few years back.
He has seen off some big names in the promotion like Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Michael Bisping but has failed to keep a streak going. He recently had a stinking losing streak where he lost 3 in a row, but that came to an end at UFC 258.
Net Worth and Payouts
Kelvin Gastelum has amassed a massive net worth of approximately $1.7 million. The American MMA fighter can thank his time in the UFC for that. And, you’d think he would be adding more to that as the years go by. Kevin Gastelum’s overall UFC earnings have crossed the $2 million mark.

As for his payouts, Gastelum took home a cool $165,000 during his last MMA fight which came against Ian Heinisch at UFC 258. He has been having a 6-figure payday for 6 UFC fights in a row now and has earned almost $2million in UFC payouts alone.
His largest payout came in his high-profile UFC 236 loss to Israel Adesanya. The fight was for the interim middleweight title which Izzy won, but the silver lining from that gloomy day for Gastelum would be the $230,000 cheque he got to take home with him after the bell. In 2024, he defeated Daniel Rodriguez and earned $300k.

Gastelum has a 19-9-0 (1 NC) professional MMA record and is 11-8-0 (1 NC) in the UFC since his debut all the way back in 2013 at TUF 17. He actually had a pretty impressive start to his UFC career.
Gastelum was unbeaten in his first 5 UFC fights before he lost to Tyron Woodley at UFC 183 in a closely contested battle. And since then, his form in the promotion has been a see-saw. Most notably he had a rancid 3-fight losing streak recently when he lost to Israel Adesanya, Darren Till, and Jack Hermansson.
That finally come to an end when Gastelum beat Heinisch via unanimous decision at UFC 258.

Just when it looked like he was back on track, he lost to Jared Cannonier in the main event of UFC Vegas 34, via. unanimous decision.
The only NC on his record was when his win against Vitor Belfort at UFC Fight Night 106 was overturned to a no-contest due to him testing positive for marijuana.
