Chandler’s interest towards basketball popped up during high school. He joined the Briarcrest Christian School to play basketball. His heroic performances in freshman year helped his team to enter the Division II-AA semifinals. Chandler’s form continued in his senior season, as he averaged 19.5 points with four rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. This time he led his team to grab the DII-AA state title and was awarded the most valuable player of the season title.
