Vieira was 6-0 up by early 2016. On the 1st of October, 2016, Vieira made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night: Lineker vs Dodson. She faced Kelly Faszholz and started off with a split decision win.

She then earned three straight wins, over, Ashlee Evans-Smith, Sara McMann and Cat Zingano respectively.

It was only after this Vieira suffered her first loss in her MMA career. Facing Irene Aldana at UFC 245, Vieira was knocked out in the very first round by the Mexican.

She bounced back with a win over Sijara Eubanks at UFC 253, before once again going down, this time to Yana Kunitskaya via. unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Blaydes.

Vieira’s next fight was against the legendary Miesha Tate at UFC Fight Night: Vieira vs Tate. The Brazilian got the win in the five-round main event via a unanimous decision.

The 30-year-old will now face another former champion in the Octagon in her next fight. Vieira is to face Holly Holm at UFC Fight Night 206, which takes place on 21 May, 2022.
