Khamzat ‘Borz’ Chimaev is one of the biggest names in the UFC in 2022 and his star doesn’t seem to stop shining.

The Swedish star of Chechen descent has taken the UFC by storm as he has finished all the fights in his career but one (against Gilbert Burns at UFC 273).

Chimaev was born in Chechnya, Russia, and started wrestling when he was just five years old. He won a few medals during his junior years for Russia before moving to Sweden at the age of 17.

There he won more titles while wrestling at BK Athen and even participated in some Judo and sambo tournaments.

Chimaev’s MMA career has been short but eventful. He only started training when he was 23 and after three years, he is already in the UFC and looking to win titles.

Chimaev won his first three UFC fights in 66 days and he fought in two different weight classes too.
