There are some pretty huge announcements for Kindom Hearts fans as several games are coming to the Nintendo Switch along with the character reveal for the new DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Nintendo has revealed some great news about the Kingdom Hearts games and the new DLC characters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Nintendo and Square Enix are working together to bring all of your favourite Kingdom Heart games to the Nintendo Switch. Along with that, players will be able to play with one of their favourite Kingdom Hearts characters in the Super Smash Bros Ultimate via the DLC.

Sora from Kingdom Hearts is joining as the final character for Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Sora from Kingdom Hearts will be the 82nd playable character, Nintendo said during a live stream event. Sora joins a prestigious group of characters from popular Nintendo games and beyond, including Jin Kazuya, Sephiroth, a handful of Belmont’s, and an overwhelming number of Fire Emblem characters.

The internet was ablaze with curiosity over who the new character will be ahead of the Smash Live stream. Master Chief from Halo Infinite, as well as Goku from Dragonball Z, were early favourites. Waluigi, on the other hand, was one of the most popular guesses, with fans asking for his inclusion for years. Because there will be no more characters added to Smash, that dream, along with the hopes of his many fans, has come to an end. Masahiro Sakurai, the director of Smash Ultimate, has stated that this character will be the game’s final addition.
