The Los Angeles Clippers started the season in fine fashion beating the LA Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.
Even without the services of Paul George, the Clippers had enough talent to get the better of their rivals.
However, they were brought down to earth after the Phoenix Suns rose to beat them in the last game.
Kawhi Leonard and Montrezl Harrell scored a ton but they couldn’t keep their unbeaten run going.
The Charlotte Hornets are 1-2 after losing their latest game against the Lakers. Mile Bridges was great with 23 points while Cody Zeller racked up a double-double with 19 points and 14 assists.
The pair will be key for the Hornets if they want to get the better of the star-studded Clippers.
Four of Charlotte’s starters scored double–digit points against the Lakers, and they need to put up similar numbers if they want to beat the other LA side.
The Suns did extremely well to get the better of the Clippers, but a return home should give Doc Rivers’ side a handy boost.
The team have looked good in the three games and the loss to the Suns was a surprise.
Charlotte, for their part, have a lot of hard work to do and it will be interesting to see how they start against the Clippers.
Both teams need to be included in a Dream 11 team and there could be some tough choices to make.
Patrick Beverly is the man for the point guard position in this line-up. The Clippers star doesn’t get a lot of points but he does register assists and rebounds to rack up a decent score.
Lou Williams has started the season on fire and scored 23 points in their loss to the Suns. The Clippers star should rack up similar numbers off the bench against the Hornets too.
The other shooting guard for this clash is Dwayne Bacon. The Hornets star scored 15 points against the Lakers and will have to be at his best if they want to beat the Clippers.
Leonard was great in the last game for the LA team and scored 27 points and recorded 10 assists. The American has to be part of any team that features the Clippers.
Miles Bridges is the other option for this game with the Hornets star racking up 23 points in the loss to the Lakers.
Patrick Patterson is the only power forward for this game, and the Clippers star was chosen to keep a check on the credits used to make the team.
Harrell and Zeller both had excellent games for their respective teams and could reach the 20-point mark in this clash too.
Leonard has started this season in incredible fashion and it is difficult seeing anyone else being picked as the star player.
The Clippers were shocked in their previous game against the Suns, but that should not take place this time around.
LA should have enough in the tank to get the better of the Hornets, especially when playing at home.
