LAL vs UTA Dream 11: Can the Lakers pick up their first win of the season?

The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t have a great start to the season losing to their city rivals, the Clippers, on their opening day of the campaign.

LeBron James was overshadowed by new Clippers star Kawhi Leonard while Anthony Davis did dominate the board on his debut for the Lakers.

The Jazz have been in great form over the past season and started this campaign with a five-point win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on opening night.

LeBron James (R) has a lot of work to do with the Lakers this season

Donovan Mitchell was the start of the show for the Jazz and scored a game-high 32 points and will be one of the top choices for this game.

Rudy Gobert is another who had a great night against the Thunder and the Jazz would want to get one over their more illustrious rivals.

Bojan Bogdanovic injured his ankle in the win over the Thunder, but he was able to finish the game (h/t NBA Jazz).

Dream 11 Fantasy tips and predictions

The Jazz have been one of the most improved sides in recent years in the NBA, and even though they don’t have the same star power as the Lakers, they more than make that up with their teamwork.

The Los Angeles side had a disappointing night against the Clippers but there were some bright spots with Danny Green creating a record for most points scored by a Laker on his debut.

This should be a tight contest and Dream 11 requires at least three players from each team in a line-up.

Point guards

Quinn Cook got some minutes for the Lakers against the Clippers and he should be the starter for them against the Jazz.

Alex Caruso could get some points off the bench

Alex Caruso is also fit to play and could be chosen ahead of Rajon Rondo for the Lakers in this clash (h/t NBA LA Lakers).

Shooting guards

There really can’t be too many discussions over who should be in chosen for this position. Mitchell and Green are excellent players in their own right and have started the season extremely well for their respective teams.
