Larry Nance Jr. Career
Nance started playing basketball in his high school days at Revere High School. In his freshman year, he played in the Point guard position initially and was later given the position he needed. At the end of his senior year, Nance averaged 18.2 points with 9.5 rebounds and 3 blocks per game. Nance remained one of the best players in his high school. Nance received various scholarships from colleges but he decided to play for Wyoming and rejected all the other offers. Out of the 123 games Nance played for his college, he averaged 11.3 points with 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Nance entered into the 2015 NBA draft and was picked by the Lakers as the 27th overall pick in the draft. Nance made his NBA debut against the Brooklyn Nets and scored six points with five rebounds. It was just a normal debut, Larry could have performed well. In a match against the Memphis Grizzlies, Nance scored his first double-double and scored 17 points with 11 rebounds. Nance continued to play for two more seasons with the Lakers. At the of the 2017-18 season, Nance was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers on February 2018. On seeing his performance, the Cavaliers extended his contract to a 4-year/$44.8 million contract.
After giving his best for the Cavaliers, Nance was then signed by the Blazers for the 2021-22 season. He was performing well and won matches for the Cavaliers.
