Now, it is expected to arrive by winter 2024 as revealed during Tencent’s Video V Vision Conference.

Q4 2024

Fans of League of Legends can look forward to an all-new season of Arcane in Winter 2024. The animated series delves deep into its lore, following champions Vi and Jinx across technologically advanced Piltover city and subcity Zaun while exploring political tensions that exist between them.

Riot Games took great care to ensure the second season matches its predecessor in terms of animation quality; Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell will return along with Reed Shannon, Mick Wingert, Harry Lloyd as voice actors; Jason Spisak may even reprise his role of Silco in flashback scenes.

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent addressed the possibility of Arcane Season Two during a recent conference (via Kotaku). Though no specific release window was given, Laurent confirmed it wouldn’t take as long to produce as its first season did – six years to produce season one was lengthy enough! In addition, other League champions could possibly make appearances – possibly leading to conflict between Piltover and Zaun or even war between them!

November 2021

League of Legends made its animated debut in 2021 with Arcane, an impressive animated series which brought its universe and lore to life through innovative animation techniques. Arcane quickly became a huge success and won multiple awards – no wonder fans wanted a second season but its production team hasn’t given any confirmation.

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent confirmed there would be a sequel, while also noting that their production team won’t rush its production. This means we may wait three years between seasons – however this can be understood given that their production team needs time to ensure this one surpasses its predecessor in quality.

Arcane Season Two will begin airing later this year and it remains unknown who will return for it, though we can expect the main cast – including Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Ella Purnell as Jinx and Katie Leung as Caitlyn – will remain intact. However, several other League of Legends characters from season 1 were left uncertain after its cliffhanger finale so it will be interesting to see their stories unfold over the course of new episodes – hopefully continuing the exploration between Piltover and Zaun!

January 2022

After months of anticipation, Arcane finally hit Netflix this past March. Now with nine episodes under their belt and its season 1 cliffhanger resolved, fans eagerly anticipate its second season and its return of Jinx and Vi. Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent provided mixed signals regarding production as fans await news on Jinx and Vi’s return – hopefully sooner rather than later!

This series, set in League of Legends lore, follows Vi and Jinx from their origin stories to their iconic champion roles in League. During its first season, viewers witnessed tension between technological utopia Piltover and undercity Zaun, with each sister finding herself on opposing sides of this war. With an intense final episode that left Jayce, Mel, Viktor, Cassandra Hoskel Bolbok Ekko’s fate still uncertain; the show certainly ended on an intense note.

Though it’s too soon to know exactly what will make up Season 2, Riot Games’ parent company Tencent may be eager to make up lost time after its initial success with the show’s creation taking six years to develop. Dylan Jadeja stepped into Riot Games’ CEO position this past October and thus may now have greater say over its direction.

June 2022

As Arcane Season 1 was an overwhelming success, fans are eagerly awaiting its sequel. Unfortunately, at Tencent Video V Vision Conference it was announced that Season Two would debut sometime during winter 2024; an earlier release date may allow production teams to deliver episodes more steadily than it took them six years to do before.

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent has promised that production for season two won’t take as long as expected, although we don’t know yet whether new episodes will continue following Jinx and Vi exclusively, or feature other champions from Summoner’s Rift.

Arcane Season 2 remains unclear in many aspects, though we know the cast will return for at least the main characters (Hailee Steinfeld and Kevin Alejandro are expected to voice the main roles), while Terri Douglas and Jason Spisak may reprise their roles from Season 1. A recent teaser by the show’s team has fans wondering whether Warwick, who was experimented on by Singed in his laboratory, will make an appearance.
