It was in the final seconds of the third quarter when LeBron hit the Thunder with a fadeaway jumper, and became the highest scorer in NBA history.

In the ceremony dubbed the “Scoring King” ceremony to felicitate the record-breaking legend, LeBron James gave a shout-out to the “real MVP”.
In the ceremony held to celebrate the occasion of LeBron James breaking the long standing all-time scoring record in the NBA, LeBron was asked to deliver a speech to mark the moment. While LeBron thanked everyone that made the achievement possible, he put in a special word about his wife – who was on courtside to support him along with their two sons and a daughter.
Addressing the audience, LeBron said: “My beautiful wife (Savannah) – I mean, she’s the real MVP if you wanna be completely honest about it.” The speech went viral in no time, as it underlined the importance of family even to a bona fide sporting legend like James.
