Leicester City Opinion: Why the Foxes should go all out for Bertrand Traore?
According to a report from French outlet Foot Mercato, Leicester City are one of the host of Premier League clubs interested in signing Lyon star, Bertrand Traore.
The Burkina Faso international, 23, has impressed in France since making the move from Chelsea in 2017. He racked up 18 goals last season and another 11 this term, helping Lyon finish third in the Ligue 1 table. Unsurprisingly, he has also attracted interest from Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton.
At just 23 years of age, Bertrand Traore has established himself as one of the exciting players in France. His next move will be crucial in terms of his development and a switch to Leicester City should be ideal this summer.
Brendan Rodgers has impressed in his short time as a Leicester City manager. He quickly has changed the team’s style of play and given the Foxes an identity which they were lacking under his predecessor, Claude Puel. Even though the Midlands outfit finished ninth in the table, Rodgers’ side have the potential and quality to do well next term.
