Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder in superb fashion and could be up against Anthony Joshua

Tyson Fury can celebrate defeating Deontay Wilder now but he could be up against another tough opponent in Anthony Joshua.

The Gypsy King, Fury, defeated Wilder in their second meeting and won the WBC belt over the American.

However, Britain holds all the heavyweight boxing titles with Joshua winning the WBA super, WBO and IBF titles in December.

Joshua defeated Andy Ruiz Jr and Hearn, who is a promoter, wants the pair to fight.

Hearn was speaking on Sky Sports and claimed that both boxers also want to fight, but suggested that Joshua was the underdog, which was good for him:

“I said to AJ last night you know the great thing about this is you all going into the fight as the underdog. You know very rarely will you see AJ go into any fight as the underdog but this time you look at the betting markets AJ is that underdog against Tyson Fury perfect.

“We’ve got the man who can be the undisputed heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury believes he can beat Antony Joshua only one way to find out, let’s make it happen.”

Fury’s made a remarkable turnaround in his career after a lot of scandals and even fought in the WWE.

Wilder does have a rematch clause

The outspoken Wilder does have a rematch clause and could take it up to reclaim his titles. However, Hearn believes that Joshua could get a shot at the titles in the summer if Wilder doesn’t take up his clause.

That would be another huge fight but most British fans would want to see Fury vs Joshua.

Joshua has lost just one fight in his professional boxing record, which came against Ruiz. However, the 30-year-old faces Kubrat Pulev on 20 June as he defends all his titles against the Bulgarian.
