A two-fight winning streak followed before he was stopped by Pat Crawley (by unanimous decision) at Legend FC 2. Following three-straight wins after his first defeat, Jingliang earned a title shot.
He took on Myung Ho Bae but lost via. unanimous decision. Following two more wins at Legend FC, Jingliang moved to the UFC.
He made his UFC debut on the 24th of May, 2014 at UFC 173, starting off with a split decision win.
His next fight was a split decision loss to Nordine Taleb. ‘The Leech’ then grew in strength, going on a four-fight winning run.
At UFC 267, Jingliang famously took on Khamzat Chimaev, but was put to sleep by ‘The Borz’ in the very first round. Jingliang’s record reads 19 wins and 9 losses.

Li Jingliang was born on the 20th March of 1988 in Tacheng, Xinjiang, China. The names of his parents are not known yet. Jingliang is married and has one daughter and one son.
He endorses popular sports brand Li-Ning. As of now, there is no information about Li Jingliang’s return to the UFC in 2025. Li Jingliang also confirmed he is not retiring from MMA.
