Players who play Like a Dragon Infinite Wealthsss take control of Ichiban Kasuga, Kazuma Kiryu, and their friends as they travel around the Isezaki Ijincho area of Yokohama and Honolulu City in Hawaii. Like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the game’s fighting system is based on turns for all of the available characters.
There are a lot of “jobs” that each character can choose from. These are like classes that give them different benefits and ways to play. As the “Dragon of Dojima,” Kiryu’s special job gives him the power to change between different fighting styles and even do real-time battles for a short time, similar to how it was in earlier Like a Dragon games. The Poundmates call system is back, and it has both new and old series characters, like Shun Akiyama and Kaoru Sayama.
Some minigames from Infinite Wealth are back, like Karaoke, Darts, and Mahjong. But there are also some new ones, like Crazy Delivery, a food delivery game based on Sega’s Crazy Taxi series; Sujimon Battle, a Pokémon parody game; and Miss Match, a dating app for Kasuga.
In the major side activity, Happy Resort Dondoko Island, Kasuga is in charge of running his own resort island, which includes goals like gathering resources, making things, and interacting with other people. Kiryu also has his own side action called Bucket List. In it, he meets up with old friends and partners from earlier Like a Dragon games.
