Former WWE and current AEW superstar Jeff Hardy recently got arrested and charged with DUI. Here is the list of WWE DUI arrests
Over the years, several superstars have been arrested for many offences. This was Jeff Hardy’s third arrest, and he isn’t the first superstar to have a run-in with the law. Here is the list of five WWE stars with DUI charges.
Jeff hardy was arrested for a DUI earlier this week. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time police have pulled over the former champion. In October 2019, hardy was arrested and charged with driving while impaired in Moore County, North Carolina.
A few months before this incident, hardy was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; this time, it was for public intoxication. TMZ has reported that the current AEW superstar was arrested on the charges of driving with a suspended license, violating restrictions on his license, felony DUI and a bond set at $3,500. He has been released on a bond, but during his arrest, he was more than three times the legal limit to drive in Volusia County, Florida.
The Usos are currently the undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions and come from a rich heritage and a family of wrestlers who has been in the business for years. Unfortunately for them, The Usos have been arrested on two separate occasions.
Jey Uso was arrestd in 2018 in Hidalgo, texas. He was pulled over for a traffic violation late at night, but the officer observed signs of intoxication. He also failed a sobriety test and was booked for DUI.
On the other hand, Jimmy was arrested in 2019 in Pensacola, Florida. This was the third time the superstar was arrested for DUI. However, luckily for him, this time, he was found not guilty, and the charges were dropped.
Kurt Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of WWE. He is an Olympic Gold Medalist and has also had an outstanding career in the world of pro wrestling.
However, The WWE Hall of Famer has been arrested for DUI multiple times. He has had four alcohol-related arrests so far. Although his most recent one came in 2013, he checked himself into a rehabilitation centre. He promised to make amends in his life.
Sunny was one of the most popular female wrestlers in the world at one point in time. However, since her final appearance for WWE, the superstar has been making headlines regularly but not for a good cause.
Sunny was involved in a fatal car accident in Volusia County, Florida. The police reported that Sunny was driving a car that collided with another vehicle. At the same time, it was stopped at a red light.
The 75-year-old man in the car passed away, and the former superstar was arrested for DUI. It was later revealed that her blood-alcohol level was more than 3.5 times the legal limit at the time of the incident.
TMZ later reported that Sunny’s bond was initially set at more than $227,000. If she gets convicted, she could face 26 years in prison.
Test was one of the big WWE superstars of the attitude era. He had a dominating presence in the ring and was part of many feuds. He has won the Hardcore and Tag Team Championships.
He was arrested twice for DUI, once in 2007 in Hillsborough County and another in 2008 in Pasco County. The test was put behind the bards both times but was released the next day after posting bail.
