Liverpool host Arsenal in one of the best Carabao Cup fixtures of round four as both sides look to continue their progress in the competition.
The Reds are coming off a great 2-1 win over Tottenham in their previous game, and they should have scored more than the two goals given the chances they created.
Arsenal, however, were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace in a game filled with VAR controversy and a crazy incident regarding club captain Granit Xhaka.
The Swiss star was subbed in the game as Arsenal kept pushing for the third goal, and as the midfielder made his way off, the crowd started booing him.
Xhaka asked for more shouts from the crowd and cupped his ear before taking his jersey off and walking down the tunnel.
Both sides should look to change their team around and give some chances to bright young talent as they did in the previous round.
Liverpool would have been the favourites for this game had it been the best XIs facing each other.
It is difficult to confirm how many changes both managers could make, especially given that the sides are in Premier League action at the weekend.
This fixture is known to produce lots of goals and having the right Dream 11 team could lead to a huge points tally.
Caoimhin Keller should get the nod in this game despite Adrian being the second-choice behind Alisson.
The youngster was great in the win over MK Dons and Liverpool’s assistant manager Pep Lijnders confirmed the change (h/t Liverpool Echo).
Most of the first-team defenders would be rested by Liverpool and Arsenal. However, Joe Gomez should get a start given that he was on the bench in the win over Spurs.
Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin could get some valuable points from the Arsenal defence.
Bellerin is making his return from a long-term injury and the full-back could do well against an inexperienced Liverpool defence.
Mohamed Salah picked up an ankle problem in the win over Spurs and needs some rest.
Liverpool should mix their midfield about with Adam Lallana, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner featuring for Jurgen Klopp.
Milner could even feature in the defence as a left-back while Lallana played as the deep-lying midfielder in the Carabao Cup win over MK Dons.
Harvey Elliott was excellent against the Dons and there could be another youngster starting with Bukayo Saka playing for the Gunners.
Divock Origi should be one of the starters for the Reds as he was on the bench against Tottenham.
Gabriel Martinelli started the last Carabao Cup game for the Gunners and should lead the line for the London side.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has looked great in recent weeks and should be the captain for this clash.
Saka has also been in decent touch and should be the vice-captain.
Liverpool should be slight favourites for the game given their start to the season. The Reds should be able to see off the Gunners but by a one-goal margin only.
