UFC 296 is the final PPV of 2023 for the promotion but what is the event’s location?

UFC 296 is the final PPV of the year and the location for the event seems set for now. While there has been no confirmation, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada should host the event.

The venue in Las Vegas has held the final UFC PPV of the year for the last two years. In 2020, the last PPV was held in the UFC Apex but that was during the COVID restriction days when fans were not allowed to attend any events and many large gatherings were banned.

Jan Blachowicz vs. Magomed Ankalaev was the PPV held last year in December at the arena. This was for the UFC Light Heavyweight title and it ended in a split draw and no one got the vacant title due to the result.

The UFC will make their final PPV a huge one, and there could be a mega main event to ensure the PPV buys are high.

UFC 296 fight card, main event rumours and more

There currently is no confirmed fight or fight card for the UFC 296 event. However, there have been rumblings that Conor McGregor could return to the UFC for this event.

The Irishman hasn’t fought since his loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021. McGregor suffered a broken leg in this clash and had to undergo surgery.

He did return to the UFC but in a coaching capacity against Michael Chandler in the latest season of TUF. McGregor then posted a teaser that he could be fighting Chandler on his social media accounts.

This was a screen grab from the UFC Fight Pass and confirms that Chandler vs. McGregor will be the main event of the 296 card. However, nothing official has been made by the UFC, for now.

As for other fights, again, nothing else has been confirmed. The UFC also hasn’t brought up the ticket sales information or where fans can buy them.

The last event mentioned in UFC 295 is a Heavyweight title clash between champion Jon Jones and former champion Stipe Miocic.
