Riot Games has released a new teaser trailer for the animated League of Legends series called Arcane coming to Netflix later this year. Here is everything that we know so far about the Arcane release date
Riot Games had announced a new animated series for their hit MOBA game League of Legends on the game’s 10th anniversary. They have released a new teaser trailer for the event series which gives us a general theme of the show. The series will feature characters from the main game.
Arcane Teaser Trailer
The teaser trailer for the event series is just 14 seconds long but there are many hidden details in it. The characters in the show are revealed from the neck down so it is hard to identify them. You can watch the teaser trailer here. There is not much information about the plot of the show but from the trailers released, we can guess that the series will focus on the relationship between Vi and Jinx. The story is supposed to take place in Piltover and Zaun.
Arcane Characters
Many of your favorite characters from the League of Legends main game will make an appearance in the animated show. The show will focus on the relationship between the pink-haired Vi and the chaos loving criminal from Zaun, Jinx. Vi’s cop partner Caitlyn will also make an appearance in the show. We will also see another League of Legends Champion, Jayce in the event series. The last confirmed champion to appear in the show is Viktor. Along with these favorite champions, they have also announced some new non champion characters that will be seen in the show – Silco, Mel, and Vander.

Arcane Release Date
League of Legends Arcane was scheduled to be released in 2020. But the production of the show was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Riot Games has announced that the show will be released on Netflix in 2021. According to some reports, Riot Games will reveal the Arcane release date at the Netflix fan event.
