Defeat the Lords of the Fallen Hollow Crow and grab rewards like Vestige Seed and x8 Umbral Scouring that will help you in the game.
In Lords of the Fallen, the Hollow Crow is one of the most dangerous enemies you’ll face near the end of the game. This scary boss has three different stages, and each one is scarier than the last. This complete guide will teach you the strategies and tactics you need to beat this tough enemy and finally reach the end of your epic Lords of the Fallen journey.
In all three phases of this intense battle, your primary objective is to inflict damage on the Lords of the Fallen Hollow Crow by targeting Lucy, the ghostly figure hovering above the battle arena. To damage Lucy, you must employ the “Soulflay” ability when in the Axiom realm. This skill forces Lucy’s soul to emerge from its protective light bubble, rendering it vulnerable to attack. Ensure you have sufficient Soulflay charges before entering the fray.
Once you’ve successfully exposed Lucy’s soul, you can target her with both melee and ranged attacks. Your goal during this initial phase is to land as many hits on Lucy as possible, all while avoiding the Hollow Crow’s deadly strikes. In the Umbral realm, Lucy is already exposed, eliminating the need for Soulflay.
At the start of the fight, the Lords of the Fallen Hollow Crow will send out ice wolves and zombies to stop you. Keep an eye out for these new enemies; they might catch you off guard. The boss will also use an ice path that follows your moves and changes its path when it hits walls. To avoid this attack, turn around and run the other way.
The breath attack is one of the most dangerous moves to watch out for because it sends huge ice spikes from the ground that hurt a lot and slow you down. Avoid these spikes, especially when other ice weapons from the Hollow Crow set them off, which makes them more powerful. Hollow Crow can also call up a whirlwind of cold air that makes it hard to see and forces you to stay in the middle of the arena, where you may be vulnerable to other enemies.
After successfully defeating Lucy for the first time, the battle enters its second phase. During this period, Hollow Crow abstains from attacking you directly but summons Ice Mages as reinforcements. These formidable enemies possess both melee and ranged attacks, capable of inflicting significant damage. Stay alert and keep an eye on them while targeting Lucy.
The boss will also begin to use ice projectiles, but if you maintain a safe distance, avoiding this attack should be manageable as their trajectory is telegraphed. Lords of the Fallen Hollow Crow will also use “crow ice spikes,” an enhanced and faster version of the ice spikes from the first phase. These spikes don’t rebound off walls; dodge them by moving in their direction. Other attacks from the first phase continue to pose a threat.
The third part of the battle starts the same way the second did, with Hollow Crow’s first move being ice spikes. Keep avoiding these strikes and keep your attention on Lucy coming back. Follow the same plan as in the previous stages until Lucy’s life bar runs out.
You need to pay close attention to the Kinrangr Guardian during this time because it is a tough enemy. Its strikes are still dangerous, even though they aren’t as strong as the boss from earlier in the game. Avoid them as much as possible to avoid getting hurt. Threats still come from other attacks from the first two stages.
The head of the Lords of the Fallen Hollow Crow will fall after a tough fight, letting you deal the final blow. You will get a Vestige Seed and x8 Umbral Scouring for your hard work. If you talk to the Umbral echo in the middle of the arena, you’ll get another Umbral Scouring and the “Remembrance of the Hollow Crow.” You can get the “Dress of the Drowned,” “Mask of the Drowned,” and “Grieving Gaze” spells by giving this to Molhu.
In conclusion, beating the Hollow Crow in Lords of the Fallen is hard, but it can be done with the right techniques and moves. This guide should help you beat this tough enemy and move on with your journey in the game.
