Predicted Arsenal XI to face Wolves in the Premier League
Arsenal were dealt a massive blow in their pursuit of a top-four finish, as the Gunners lost out 3-2 to Crystal Palace at home in the Premier League on Sunday.
Unai Emery’s men will be looking to get back to winning ways and reignite their hopes of securing Champions League football next season when they make the trip to Molineux to lock horns with Wolves on Wednesday.
Wolves are still very much in the race for a Europa League qualification spot and Nuno Santo’s men will be hoping to pull off an upset after putting in a spirited display in the 1-1 draw against the Gunners away from home earlier in the season.
Team News
Aaron Ramsey is ruled out with a thigh injury, while Granit Xhaka is struggling to shake off a hip injury and his selection will be subject to a late fitness test. Hector Bellerin (knee), Rob Holding (knee) and Danny Welbeck (ankle) are all long-term absentees for the Gunners, though the return of Sokratis should be a massive boost for the travelling side.

1. Bernd Leno (GK)
The German made some fine saves against Crystal Palace on Sunday and was hardly at fault for any of the goals that the team conceded.
2. Sokratis (RCB)
The Greek international is likely to replace Mustafi, whose bizarre defensive error cost Arsenal the game against Palace.
3. Laurent Koscielny (CB)
Arsenal will look up to their club-captain to lead them to a victory after a shocking home defeat on Sunday.
4. Nacho Monreal (LCB)
Mavropanos did a decent job on the left of a back-three in the last game but the experienced Spaniard is likely to return to the eleven for the away fixture after being rested against Palace.
5. Ainsley Maitland-Niles (RWB)
The youngster has really come of age for the Gunners in this campaign and Emery should hand him a start ahead of Carl Jenkinson, who had a poor game last time around.
6. Sead Kolasinac (LWB)
The Bosnian has been a regular for the Gunners down the left-hand side of the pitch and it will be interesting to see how he copes with the threat of Matt Doherty.
7. Matteo Guendouzi (CM)
The Frenchman didn’t have much of an impact in the home defeat to Palace and Arsenal will need him to step up his game.
8. Lucas Torreira (CM)
Elneny had a lacklustre outing on Sunday, so Emery should go back to the Uruguayan, who has been a standout performer for the Gunners in the central midfield area.
9. Mesut Ozil (CAM)
The German wizard should be high on confidence after scoring with a lovely finish in the last game but Arsenal will need him to work harder off the ball on Wednesday.
10. Alexandre Lacazette (ST)
He showed good hold-up play, linked up really well with his teammates and picked up the assist for Ozil’s goal in the last game.

11. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ST)
The Gabonese international beat four defenders with a lung-busting run and scored a wonderful goal against Palace. He has been a key figure for the Gunners up front and they will bank heavily on him to deliver the goods on Wednesday.
