World No. 73 Camila Osorio takes on Czech qualifier Linda Noskova in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Lyon Open on Friday.
Camila Osorio
After being ousted by world No. 1 Iga Swiatek in the second round of the Australian Open, Camila Osorio has looked in good touch so far in the Lyon Open.

Osorio’s performance was far from perfect as she had 10 double faults against her name. However, she managed to show strong nerves to topple the experienced campaigner. In the round of 16, Osorio faced the German youngster Jule Niemeier. The first set was tantalizingly close but Osorio managed to edge it in the tiebreak. The second set was also a close affair but the 21-year-old managed to hold on to eventually win 7-6 (7-5), 7-5.
