2023 has started like a dream for Linda Noskova. She played in the Adelaide International 1 to begin the new season. Noskova progressed from the qualifiers and defeated big names like Victoria Azarenka and Ons Jabeur en route to the final. She finished runner-up after losing to 2nd seed Aryna Sabalenka.

Noskova failed to impress at the Australian Open as she lost in the first round of qualifying to Katherine Sebov. She has bounced back strongly in the Lyon Open. After making it to the main draw with wins against Margaux Rouvroy and Viktoria Kuzmova in the qualifiers, Noskova got the better of former world No. 1 Garbine Muguruza in a one-sided encounter. The match ended in straight sets 6-1, 6-4.

The Egyptian star failed to make it to the main draw of the Adelaide International 1 as she lost to Marta Kostyuk in the second round of qualifying. In the first round of the Hobart International, she won the first set against Nuria Parrizas-Diaz but failed to win the match.

The 26-year-old lost in the first round of the Australian Open against eventual semifinalist Magda Linette. In the first round of the Lyon Open, Sherif was leading 6-2, 3-2 against Ana Konjuh when the Croatian was forced to retire.
