Magomed Ankalaev has a net worth of approximately $1.2 million. Thanks to his successful UFC career where he made more than $1,500,000 as earnings.
For his first UFC fight, back in March 2018, against Paul Craig, which he lost via. submission, Ankalaev earned $13,500. At UFC 277, Anthony Smith defeated Anthony Smith in 2022 and received $150,000. In 2025, he defeated Aleksandar Rakić at UFC 308 and received $320,000.
His biggest payday was against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 282. Ankalaev earned $400,000 following a split decision draw against the Pole in the title fight. Alex Pereira is Magomed Ankalaev’s first opponent in 2025 at UFC 313.
Magomed Ankalaev MMA career and UFC record
Magomed Ankalaev made his MMA debut at Oplot Challenge 96 on the 18th of January, 2014. He took on Vasily Babich and earned a majority decision win.
Anakalaev continued his winning run, and by the end of 2015 he was 4-0 up in his MMA career.
He then moved to WFCA in April 2016, and faced Lloyd Marshbanks on debut. Ankalaev finished Marshbanks in just 15 seconds with submission to punches.
Following a fourth-round TKO win over Maxim Grishin at WFCA 30, Ankalaev won the WFCA light-heavyweight championship.
The Russian, then followed it up with two successive wins, before moving to the UFC.
On the 17th of March, 2018, Ankalaev made his UFC debut against Paul Craig at UFC Fight Night: Werdum vs Volkov.
Ankalaev suffered the first loss of his MMA career that night, succumbing to a third-round submission.
Since then, Ankalaev hasn’t lost a single match, which includes victories over Ion Cutelaba (x2), Nikita Krylov and Anthony Smith.
His MMA record reads 19 wins and just one loss and one draw.

Magomed Ankalaev was born on the 2nd of June, 1992 in Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia. Not much is known about his parents.
