Marie-Philip Poulin is a Canadian ice hockey forward who scooped the gold medal at the Vancouver and Sochi 2010 Olympic Winter Games. She is also the captain of the Canadian national team as well as the PWHPA. She is also Canada’s three-time Olympic gold medalist and arguably the world’s top female hockey player. After leading the national team to victory in the Winter Olympics and winning her third gold medal, she became the first female hockey player to be named Canada’s Athlete of the Year.
Marie-Philip Poulin was born on March 28, 1991, in Beauceville, Quebec, Canada. Many people consider her to be amongst the best female hockey players worldwide. She gained international recognition for her outstanding performances in the Olympic competitions. In addition to her Olympic success, Poulin has also competed in the IIHF Women’s World Championships.
