Marina was born on April 14, 1988, in Moldavian SSR, Soviet Union. She moved to the United States at five years old. Her father was a mechanic and her mother a teacher. She has two older brothers as well.

Christopher Lindsey aka Roderick Strong is an American professional wrestler. He has made his name after a 13-year-long tenure with Ring of Honor.
Roderick was also trained by his father, Neidhart and several other wrestlers in Tampa, Florida and debuted in 2000 as The Jester on the Floridian independent circuit for the RWA before quickly changing to his current name.
He worked for IPW Hardcore and NWA Florida, before debuting for ROH in September 2003. In mid-2004, Strong joined forces with Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Jack Evans, collectively known as Generation Next. Roderick went on to win the ROH World Tag Team Champion with Aries.
His time in ROH was quite fruitful as he became a one-time ROH World Champion, a two-time ROH World Television Champion and a one-time ROH World Tag Team Champion which made him the second-ever ROH Triple Crown Champion.
Christopher signed with WWE in 2016 under the ring name Roderick Strong as a fan favourite before eventually turning into a heel and joining The Undisputed Era, where he became a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion with Kyle O’Reilly and one-time NXT North American Champions as well.
He is currently the leader of Diamond Mine. On NXT 2.0 Strong defeated Kushida to win the NXT Cruiserweight Champion.

Shafir is a Moldovan professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist as well. Shafir began training judo when she was six years old and started competing at a high level in the sport when she was 12.
Shafir began her mixed martial career at an amateur level in 2012. In two years, she was unbeaten, winning all five of her matches by submission. She began professionally in early 2014. Shafir’s first professional fight was against Chandra Engel on April 12, 2014, where she won by submission in the first round. She formerly competed for Invicta Fighting Championships in the women’s featherweight division.
On May 7, 2018, WWE announced the signing of Shafir along with Jessamyn Duke. On October 28 at WWE Evolution, Shafir and Duke made their WWE debuts as heels when they interfered during the NXT Women’s Championship match, in which they helped Shayna Baszler regain the title over Kairi Sane.
Shafir and Duke made their NXT in-ring debut in December 2018 but were defeated by Io Shirai and Dakota Kai. After several months of inactivity, Shafir returned to WWE TV on August 17, 2020, reuniting with Baszler and Duke, and winning a Raw Underground match. She was released from WWE on June 25, 2021.
On the December 14, 2021, episode of AEW Dark, Shafir made her All Elite Wrestling debut, where she was defeated by Kris Statlander. On June 8 on AEW Dynamite Shafir faced Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship which Shafir lost.

Shafir is close friends with Ronda Rousey who trained with her at Glendale Fighting Club and had a similar background in judo.
