Utah Jazz played with their second fiddle team against Toronto Raptors which got blown away by the triple-double from Fred VanVleet. But they were beaten again by the Sabonis and the Pacers having their main players, except Rudy Gobert available for the game. This is Jazz’s current streak – L2
Detroit team won against Orlando Magic, the only team having a worse record than the Pistons. Though Jerami Grant was not available for the game; Saddiq Bay and Diallo made sure that the Pistons won’t lose against the Magic. This would be the Pistons’ current streak – W1.

Utah holds the upper hand against the Pistons and with current rosters Jazz again seems favourites for the game. Another highlighting point about the Jazz’s current season is that they have not lost 3 games in a row, so the fixture against a comparatively weaker team would be a favourable condition for their season’s record.
Donovan Mitchell has been a consistent scorer for the Jazz team and averages 25+ points this season. He scored 36 points and assisted 9 times in their recent loss against the Pacers. Slight injuries might have kept him in and out of the team lately but it didn’t affect his on-court production at all.
Mitchell has increased the 3-pointe attempts but is shooting just above 33%.
Hasan Whiteside’s name might surprise many but the absence of Rudy Gobert could benefit him with more game time. Whiteside was the primary center player at the Miami Heat but playing support to Rudy Gobert at Utah.
Bojan Bogdanovic is again capable of scoring 20 around points easily in the game. When Mitchell couldn’t connect the baskets, it would be Bogdanovic who takes the scoring load for the Jazz.
He might not be leading the team in any of the regular stats, but he eventually gives all-around performance for the Pistons. He is a player with the caliber of producing double-double stats on regular basis.
The 2021 1st overall pick for the Pistons has proved his worth with some sublime performances. He s averaging 15+ points per game, second only to Jerami Grant in the team. But he has been playing below his season average in the last 10 games.
Hamidou Diallo is playing in 3rd season in NBA and has shown good improvement over his career average. He can contribute 12 odd points with around 5 rebounds in a game on regular basis, as seen in the last few games.
Home team Detroit Pistons will be without their star player Jerami Grant due to his thumb issue. They will be without Kelly Olynyk also, but the player only played 10 games with the only one start for the team.
Utah Jazz also will be without some of their influential players like Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles due to NBA Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocol. They will be relieved to have Donovan Mitchell back from injury.
Bojan Bogdanovic and Jordan Clarkson also made their return in the game against the Pacers.
