Chelsea face Manchester City in the clash of the Premier League weekend, which could have huge repercussions in the competition too.

Not many would have expected City to be below Chelsea after 12 games of the season, but the Cityzens have already lost three games this season.

Frank Lampard has done a wonderful job with the Blues. Chelsea weren’t able to sign any players in the summer due to a transfer ban. However, that hasn’t hurt them at all.

They sit third in the table and have only lost two games all season. A win for the Blues will further dent City’s Premier League hopes, and keep Lampard’s men in the hunt for the title

Dream 11 Fantasy tips and Predictions

City need to bounce back from their defeat at the hands of Liverpool, but Chelsea will not make things easy.

The Cityzens will be without Bernardo Silva, who is serving a suspension for a tweet he sent out earlier in the campaign.

Ederson didn’t feature against Liverpool and wasn’t in action during midweek either for the national team.

Claudio Bravo could continue in between the sticks, if the Brazilian isn’t back.

Chelsea don’t have many major injury concerns, however, Ross Barkley and Christian Pulisic are doubts for this game (h/t Sun).

Both teams are stacked with quality players and it could be tough selecting the best Dream 11 team with the limited budget.

Goalkeeper

Ederson is still a doubt for City and picking Bravo could be risky given his issues in the previous game.

Kepa Arrizabalaga has done a good job this season under Lampard and should be selected for this clash.

Defenders

Selecting full-backs as defenders is a great tool to earn more points.

Ideally, three full-backs should be picked for this game, but to manage the limited credits one centre-back has also been picked.

Fikayo Tomori has impressed under Lampard this season while the two full-backs for this clash are Manchester City pair Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker.

Midfielders

Kevin de Bruyne hasn’t been in great touch over the past couple of games, and more credits have been spent on the attack.

The midfield does feature a couple of creative elements in Riyad Mahrez and Willian. The pair could get some points cutting in from the wing.

Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho are selected for the other midfield slots. The pair might not get a lot of goals but they are hard-working and put in a decent shift.

Forwards

This is where the bulk of the points could be scored for this game. Raheem Sterling was a thorn in Liverpool’s side in the previous game and would want to score against the Blues.

The Englishman was in the news for the wrong reasons recently, and that could fire him up.

Sergio Aguero and Tammy Abraham are the other options for this position.

Aguero has nine league goals to his name this season while Abraham has scored one more than the Argentine.

Captain and Vice-captain

The captain and vice-captain should be the Manchester City attackers. Sterling could cause havoc cutting in from the wings while Aguero will also try to breach the Chelsea defence.

Prediction

This is an incredible clash after the international break and with all the attacking talent that Manchester City have, they could beat the Blues by a one-goal margin.
