Megan Olivi was asked to see Sound of Freedom as she tried to be part of the Barbie vs Oppenheimer trend
A couple of movies have been the talk of the media industry over the weekend. Ever since it was confirmed that Barbie and Oppenheimer would be released on the same day, a lot of trends and memes flooded the internet.
One of them was dressing up in pink and a dark colour and asking which movie should be watched first.
UFC presenter and interviewer Megan Olivi got on the act as well. She decided to post a photo of herself. One half of the photo was Olivi wearing a pink outfit and the other was her in a black one.
She even asked which one her fans would be watching first, Oppenheimer or Barbie. However, she got some really crazy responses.
Sound of Freedom over Barbie and Oppenheimer
A lot of Olivi’s fans comment on her post to watch the Sound of Freedom movie.
A few did actually answer which movie to watch between Oppenheimer and Barbie, however, most of the fans brought up Sound of Freedom.
While Barbie is about the titular character and her boyfriend Ken somehow making it to the real world, Oppenheimer is a different movie with serious tones about the creation of the atomic bomb.
The Sound of Freedom, on the other hand, is one of the surprise hits of the summer. It is based on a real-life story of a former federal agent saving children from exploitation.
It has racked up close to $100m so far, and the movie seems to be getting more and more popular each day.
However, the movie seems to be a big hit amongst right-wing and conservatives. Former UFC President Donald Trump held a special screening of the movie with Steve Bannon also present.
Sean Hannity also praised the main star of the movie, Jim Caviezel. The actor was also interviewed by conservative professor Jordan Peterson as well.
