Predicted Crystal Palace XI to face Bournemouth: Who should start?

Crystal Palace will be making the trip to Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth in their next outing in the Premier League.

The Eagles have made a mixed start to the season but Roy Hodgson has enjoyed an unbeaten streak since their 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Southampton earlier this month.

They must be looking to further extend their good run of form against Bournemouth, who suffered a denting 4-0 defeat to Burnley in their previous outing.

Team News

Hodgson could make numerous changes to the starting line-up that won 2-0 away against West Brom in the 3rd round of the League Cup.

He will still be without the services of Christian Benteke, Scott Dann, Jairo Riedewald and Connor Wickham, who are all ruled out due to injuries.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI to face Bournemouth

Manager: Roy Hodgson

Formation: 4-3-3

Wayne Hennessey (GK)

He has been in good form this season and should replace Vicente Guaita in the goal.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB)

The 20-year-old full-back has shown a lot of energy and promise down the right and should be back in the starting XI against Bournemouth.

James Tomkins (CB)

He remains key at the back for the Eagles and Hodgson should hand him a start.

Mamadou Sakho (CB)

The strong Frenchman provides a lot of stability to their back four and should be an easy selection to partner Tomkins.

Patrick van Aanholt (LB)

He remains an exciting talent in the Premier League and should return to the starting XI after being rested for the Cup tie.

Luka Milivojevic (CDM)

Solid in the midfield and an aerial threat up front, he should be one of the first names in the team sheet.

Cheikhou Kouyate (RCM)

Another strong option in the midfield, Kouyate brings a lot to the table with his intelligence and creativity.

Max Meyer (LCM)

He is a perfectly-balanced player, who can contribute to the defence as well as the attack. Hodgson should hand him a start ahead of James McArthur.

Wilfried Zaha (LW)

He will be a key player in the attacking third with his lightning pace and dribbling skills. He should be one of Hodgson’s easiest selections for the upcoming fixture.
