The Minecraft Update 2.42 is here and it is for The Wild Update. It is patch version 1.19.0! There are many new features in this update and you will even see new enemies. Several new music tracks are added to the game. New features like Deep Dark and Warden are also available. Deep Dark is in the depths of the overworld, and it is one of the scariest biomes you will find. In this deep underground, you will find sculk blocks, loot chests, ancient structures, and a solitary mob. You will have to sneak and use the Silk Touch in order to navigate the deep dark. However, keep in mind not to wake the Warden.
Warden is also new in the Minecraft Update 2.42. Warden is the only mob that spawns in the deep dark and it will make the appearance only if its slumber is disturbed. Therefore, you will have to sneak very silently and carefully. If you move very quickly then there will be a Sculk sensor that will trigger the sculk shrieker. Warden cannot see, but it can detect you with the help of vibrations so you will have to be careful about it.
In Deep Dark, you will find different types of sculk blocks. You can mine them but for that, you will need to use the Silk Touch and stay in a stealthy position. Due to the atmospheric glow, the sculk block looks very attractive so it is not difficult to locate it. Now, what is the sculk sensor that we mentioned earlier? It is a redstone block that will detect any vibrations around it. This is the reason we told you to move silently and use a Silk Touch.
The sculk catalyst spawns the patches of sculk and the sculk veins generated around it. This happens due to the sculk that is spread by the sculk catalyst. The most dangerous block that you will have to be aware of is the sculk shrieker as it will summon the warden.
The recovery compass is the solution for finding the way back to the last location you died. Loot chests in ancient cities to discover echo shards and craft one for yourself!
The new mangrove swamps have wide roots, muddy terrain, trees, and more. It is found in areas that have very high humidity and high temperatures. You can even find the mangrove trees and also the mud blocks. All these are some of the newest materials that you can craft. Moreover, with the help of mangrove trees, you can craft new wood blocks. In addition to that, the logs can be further crafted into buttons, slabs, fences, planks, stairs, doors, signs, and pressure plates.
