All you need to know about the height of Grayson Greiner which is making a lot of headlines around the MLB world.
After being selected by the Detroit Tigers in the third round of the 2014 draught, Grayson Greiner has been playing in the major leagues for a short spell. But, he is now playing for the Minnesota Twins, and a camera angle from spring training showed how tall the catcher, who is 6 feet 6 inches tall, appears to be while he is standing behind the plate.
Greiner stood up as the home plate umpire made a decision as Jonathan Davis (who is listed at 5 feet 8 inches, in case you were curious) walked up to the plate to face a 3-2 count in the situation. At this point, you can clearly see that Greiner has a commanding advantage over Davis.
Greiner is a player with substantial Major League Baseball experience in addition to his height, which may have been a factor in his rise to viral popularity. Grayson Greiner, who was born on October 11th, 1992, spent the years 2012 to 2014 playing college baseball for the South Carolina Gamecocks.
He was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the third round of the 2014 draft, and the West Michigan Whitecaps were the team for whom he made his debut in the professional ranks. Since then, Greiner has been a member of a number of different baseball clubs, including the Erie SeaWolves, the Toledo Mud Hens, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
