In the 2023 Major League Baseball season, the Los Angeles Dodgers will compete with the expectation of bringing home the championship trophy. The Dodgers had a dissatisfying finish to their previous season, so they made some moves, during which they also lost some key players, but they are now well-positioned to compete for a championship this year.

The fact that the Dodgers didn’t make a significant investment in free agency this time around, despite the fact that they lost numerous key players, was a cause for concern. Some people believe that they are stocking up in preparation for Shohei Ohtani’s arrival the following season.

The health of a large number of their pitchers is still a major concern for the Dodgers, which is one of the reasons why they are not the prohibitive favorites to win the World Series this year.

In addition, what they are able to accomplish this season will be determined by their state of health because the National League West division is extremely competitive and there is no clear path to victory.

Dodgers starting rotation:

  1. Clayton Kershaw
  2. Julio Urias
  3. Walker Buehler
  4. Noah Syndergaard
  5. Dustin May
  6. Tony Gonsolin
