The American League once again won the MLB All-Star Game, as they continued their dominance over the National League. Giancarlo Stanton of the New York Yankees was crowned as the MVP of this year’s all-star game.

Stanton hit a huge home run on the pitch of Dodgers pitcher Tony Gonsolin to level things up before Byron Buxton of the Minnesota Twins hit another home run to give the American League a lead.

This was the first appearance of Giancarlo Stanton at the All-Star game while being a part of the New York Yankees, and he certainly made it count. Getting the All-Star MVP is a great honor for any player in the league.

Stanton’s teammate at the Yankees, Aaron Judge was asked about what he thought of the home run scored by Stanton. Aaron Judge replied, and said, “I’ve been seeing that all year. That’s nothing new.”

Aaron Judge was certainly right as the Yankees have caused havoc this season, all of their players have hit many home runs, and Stanton also has dominated throughout the year.

The New York Yankees currently have the best record in the MLB. They are the heavy favorites to finally win a World Series title this year. Their offense has been absolutely high flying. Rizzo, Stanton, Judge, Hicks, and DJ Lamahieu have stepped up whenever required and are looking quite dangerous for the playoffs.

On the other hand, their bullpen has been great as well. All their pitches have been elite so far in the season, and they will hope to continue that in October as well. The road ahead isn’t easy, but the Yankees are looking like the real deal this season.

The biggest matchup in baseball is considered to be between the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Due to the teams’ being based in New York and Los Angeles, it brings the rivalry of the cities.

However, both the Yankees and the Dodgers have been the best teams this season, in the American League and the National League respectively. This matchup in the World Series has been highly anticipated for many years.

If both teams are able to reach the World Series and play against each other, their ratings will be at an all-time high. These two teams are the most exciting in the MLB. They have spent more money than other teams to assemble their rosters, which is why they have the best rosters in the MLB.

It will feature a boat load of star players that will urge the fans to tune in and watch. The sight of players like Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Trea Turner, Clayton Kershaw, Gerrit Cole, Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge, and Anthony Rizzo being part of the same playoff series will be a sight to soothe the spectators.

Talking about the potential matchup, Giancarlo Stanton said, “Both sides need to take care of business and get it done. If that’s how it ends up, cool, but you’re not coming in here just enjoying playing here, if that’s the case.”

However, the road ahead is still very long. There will be numerous obstacles for both the teams, and they’ll need to prove that they can dominate other teams in the postseason as well. Otherwise, another great opportunity will get wasted like it did a few years ago when the Houston Astros spoiled the party for the Yankees.
