Aaron Judge will be a free agent at the end of this season and hinted at a possible move to Yankees’ fierce rivals.
Aaron Judge, an outfielder for the New York Yankees, is dominating the American League this year. Judge’s impending free agency after the current campaign is also relevant. The Yankees and him were unable to agree on an extension, despite his having what could be the greatest contract year in sports history.
That means that people will be interested in his future beyond his current pursuit of home runs by asking him about his free agency. He performed well in his most recent game at Fenway Park, against the Yankees’ bitter rivals, the Boston Red Sox.
Following the game, Aaron Judge had some words to say about the atmosphere in Fenway Park, and how he feels about them. Jude said, “It’s the best, they’re some of the best in baseball. They’re going to boo you, they’re going to say some things, they’re going to make you laugh. It’s all part of it. A lot of great history here, and this is one of the best places to play, so it’s always fun going out there and trying to put on a show for them.”
When asked if a move to the Red Sox will be open for him once free agency starts, Aaron Judge said, “Ooh, We’ll talk about that at the end of the year.” There will be many teams who will be interested to sign Aaron Judge. The Yankees would also love to bring him back, but now his asking price has gone fairly high compared to what it was before this monumental season.
